For 40 years, founder Willem Lourens — biker, war veteran and proud South African — lived life at full throttle. From rallies across South Africa to the brotherhood of the M.O.T.H. Cape Town Chapter, the motorcycle was never just transport. It was freedom itself.
On November 26, 2023, everything changed in an instant. A motorcycle accident led to an ICU stay and the loss of a left leg and a right arm. Four months later, on March 18, 2024, Willem registered WJL Mobility PTY Ltd — built on a profound, personal understanding of what it means to lose independence, and a burning desire to restore it for others.
